Psychologist in Delaware | Practice Description
Areas of Interest
|I enjoy working with adults and older adults on issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, coping with stress, and life-role changes. Many of my clients are experiencing difficulties involved with being a caregiver for a spouse, older family member, or an adult child. I also help people with health-related issues such as coping with acute or chronic medical illness.
I work with you to understand your needs and concerns, and tailor my clinical approach to you. When appropriate, I tend to use shorter-term therapy, and focus on your present-day concerns. My style is collaborative, empathetic, and practical. Clients generally describe me as warm and caring.
Although I work with adults of all ages, I also specialize in Geropsychology. Geropsychology is the field of psychology that focuses on psychological, behavioral, social, and biological concerns that are pertinent to older adults.
